Looking for some advice on No Magic's Teamwork version control server

I'm not having much luck setting up a large project in this server so
that multiple people can work in the design. The server saves
(revision) the entire project when you commit. So you have to break
your product project into many teamwork projects. It seems the Magic
Draw tool can make projects out of packages and save them away fine.
And you can "use" a package in read only mode so you can unlock one
package to work on, use many others and commit just your one
package-product. So far so good, but there isn't any way I find to
configure a product project to be a set of projects so you cn open one
to edit and quickly "use" the rest, or "use" all that are referenced.
I'm just not finding a convient way to get this done.
Anyone out there using magic draw and teamwork?
The lock for edit also seems to be a little flaky, two people
potentially could get a lock on the same file from what I see. Is this
true?
Anyone using magic draw? Maybe thats my basic problem?
thanks,
