Time to pay those excellent aussie developers some actual money for their
fine efforts. I'm serious. If you want to participate in the economy of
software, you should be willing to give a software developer a small amount
of cash when he does a great job. EA is so good that I know a great many
individuals who purchase it, without being reimbursed by their employer.
If your company has tools from other companies (including my own), you may
want to look at those product lines. Perhaps there is a feature or product
that will do some of what you need, but it isn't being used effectively by
your team. <plug>Microsoft, as part of the new version of Visual Studio,
will be delivering some modeling capabilities in the IDE, and there's always
Visio.</plug>
