A suburban Boston based speech synthesis company is looking for
talented individuals with background in Speech Technology. Four year
old company is funded by investors and is in development mode of their
unique and proprietary speech synthesizer.
The software engineer/linguist will work with the software development
team to develop the new TTS engine.
Primary Duties:
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
* Prototype development, implementation, debugging, testing, and
support
* Work with engineers and technical professionals to develop software
requirements
Required skills/experience:
=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-
Education:
* Strong experience in software development
* Strong knowledge of C, C++, Perl, Matlab, Windows CE
* Strong experience in object oriented software design
* Experience with software engineering processes and methodology
* Prior experience in speech technology software development is a plus
* Prior experience in linguistics or phonetics is a plus
Applicants must have a BS/Master in Engineering, Computer Science or
Linguistics.
