Dear alll,
we just introduced SOA to one of our customer which has been very
interested in the subiect.
But... what we know of SOA is that it is a great idea and that will
probably have great future
but looks somehow still "unproved", given its short life.
So the question is, are there any:
- massively used applications (e.g. small applications)
- mission critical applications (e.g. ERPs, CRMs or similar
complexity)
really designed and realized with SOA principles ?
Thank you all
If you mean service oriented architecture, its been around pretty much
since the beginning of mainframe computing - just with different hats
on - RPC and Distributed computing (distributed objects) would be
classic examples.
