Use Case problem

Hi

I found a problem i can`t solve. How can I handle an
actor which is inside the system under dev.? The UML
rules do not allow it, I know. The actor is a timer
inside an embedded system. What can i do beside saying
the timer is outside?

THX for any idea ... Joern
