Being the part of UML, sequence diagrams are used in modeling process.
However, it seems to me, that there may be another applications of
S.D.
Am I right?
Or S.D. are entirely limited to be used inside UML?
Does anyone know about non-standard S.D. usage?
Sequence diagrams have been used in telecom long before UML was
specified. They are called message sequence charts (MSCs). They are
also known as call flows.
