Does it?
Just because a technology allows you to monitor someone (including
your own children) does that mean we should do so? Doesn't that just
give a skewed profile of people (i.e. records there electronic life &
ignores the unrecordable parts = out of context misrepresentation of
person)
We could have cctv in every classroom, or bugs on every child.
Do we really want to know what our children say and type? everything?
especially during their teenage years. What 'net care' are we
offering children, recording their keystrokes, that we cannot afford
them with a non invasive non-logging 'net nanny', or best one - what
you do, sit with them (at least while their young enough that both
child and parent can bare doing so!)
