PCMCIA for Windows 2k

I`m trying to kick off with a utility that will read from and write to a
PCMCIA card. I was wondering if I could get help with the initial
calling of CardServices. I have a sample program but there are problems
calling the CardServices(GET_CARDSERVICES_INFO,NULL, NULL, 256, NULL, NULL);
routine. The parameters that are being passed seem strange.
Please Help!
