<A LOT was snipped here>
=) How did this conversation evolve from language syntax-oriented to
talking about rivers, devils, and other details? Not flaming or anything,
it just seems like a wide left turn here.
Here's my two cents on the subject: Languages are already condensed enough,
and "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I can write C programs faster than a
lot of people can write BASIC programs, so it just goes to show that
experience rules over syntax. Don't get lost in the details.
The only use I could see for such lexicon is with speech-to-text synthesis,
which would allow a person to program with their mouth. I'd rather do it
with my hands. Don't think that "humanized" conventions would make programs
more readable or understandable. It would probably make things worse due to
the [extremely] larger code.
