I'm sure you're right. I remember it from years ago, when I used to
browse the Merck Index for fun. (I took a minor in chemistry.) The
description of human effects for just about every entry ended with
"convulsions and death." ;-)

I don't think I'd want to see the testing on anything. I suppose they
had to force feed the water. Sounds like a particularly nasty way to
go.
