A very big market that includes home as well as business users.

Nah, I just know your opinion is factually incorrect. (-:

Yeah. Funny how the world hasn't beaten a path to it. (-:

Such as?

Describing the *difference* between using grep in unix and using it
in Windows. A key part of that was the "activeness" of the result
data (double-click on any matched line to edit that line). Also,
how color and fonts made data presentation much better.

Not by my standards. Not as a replacement for WinGrep.

I believe I have. You might have misunderstood the point of what
I was saying. Hopefully we're on the same page now.

Well, that misses the point, though. grep is useful outside of
source code files, and so is WinGrep. I don't NEED an IDE to do
that sort of thing, I just need a really good grep. That, in a
GUI environment, the results are (a) scrollable, (b) savable
AFTER (rather than remember to tee(1) them), (c) color coded to
highlight found pattern and filename, (d) "active" (meaning I
can click on the filename or result text to edit), is (to me)
a **huge** win for productivity.

You must not do any graphics work. (-: Designing a GUI UI is
much, much easier with drag'n'drop.
