Algorithm help, any suggestions???

I'm developing a program which contains some fairly tricky problems
that I need help solving. I need someone who is very good with
algorithms to help figure out some of the problems I'm having. I
wouldn't really need any code written, just someone to provide me with
the concepts I need to write it myself. I'd be willing to pay or if
anyone wanted to do it for fun that would be nice too.
If anyone is interested or knows where I should look for this kind of
help (either for money or free if possible), please let me know. The
problems are too complex that I don't think I'd be able to explain
them well enough in a newsgroup or that I'd even get many responses.
