Top down refinement

    I'm finding it hard to use top down refinement for problem solving when
    programming for a GUI event driven invironment. It's just not comming as
    naturally to me as it would in a non multitasking commandline environment.
    I'm finding it hard to seperate user interface issues from input, data
    storage, and output issues. Any comments or advice on this matter would be
    appreciated, thanks.
