snarl-snmp error "dereferencing pointer to incomplete type" in function `var_snarl_table'

I recently installed snarl-snmp on my fedora linux box. The rest of it
installed well but I got 1 error saying

snarl/snarl.c: In function `var_snarl_table':
snarl/snarl.c:1335: error: dereferencing pointer to incomplete type
snarl/snarl.c:1335: error: dereferencing pointer to incomplete type
snarl/snarl.c:1340: error: dereferencing pointer to incomplete type

I am not sure why am I getting this error. Before installing snarl, I
also installed cURL. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware that I already had
cURL installed. Now I have two separate versions of cURL in two
separate directories on my pc. Could that be causing the problem?
