Help me Mr. Kerry!!!

I am working in a big corporation as a programmer. Recently I talked
with a friend of my who works there as a manager. He told me that my
company have a plan to fire American workers and send their work to
communist China. He told me that preliminary study showed that by
firing American workers and hiring Chinese workers on average will
save about $70,000/year. I told him I am not afraid - Mr. Kerry will
win elections and he have plan that will give to corporation financial
incentive to keep American jobs - incentive to a programmer in my
company will cost about $70,000/year, I am sure Mr. Kerry will pay.
 My friend called me an idiot!!! Mr. Kerry, is my friend right? I am
just believing in your promises? It is possible that I believe to a
liar who wants to be the president of United State of America?
Please advise me!!!
