Erm, it was under my impression that the old lisp machines failed at
capturing the market at any rate.
One language is too little in today's world, people want different
languages for their different jobs.
Nothing can regex better than Perl can. And putting perl on top of Java
seems like a waste, and etc etc for all the other languages.
