Just wondering if anyone has ever encountered a problem like this.
I'm working on an assignment to develop a sort algorithm. I KNOW that
recursion can cause strange problems, but I don't think that's what's
happening here, because (based on "printfs", I can see that it sometimes
happens after three iterations, sometimes after 10 -- there does not seem to
be a pattern.
The odd thing is that when it crashes, my computer not only turns off, but
won't react to the power button until I unplug it, wait 30 seconds or so,
and then start it up.
Jeez -- if I could only figure out how to do this on purpose I'd have a real
weapon on my hands ;^)
