Nitpick: By "exponential performance", do you mean O(2**n)? the worst
I remember from previous discussions with Mr. Nilges (and I've been
lurking since the Data Quality Act (?) days) is O(n*n) -- which is not
good if there's something O(n), but .... is this standard use of the
term "exponential performance"?
