Best Blue Chip software industies in the UK

Hi,

I am currently working in a moderate software team based (about 10
people) in non IT industry in the UK. I have 6 years experience of
software development using Visual Basic / .NET and SQL. I will soon
have completed my MCSD in this field as well.

THerefore I now want to try and go for a bigger and better company in
the UK. Could someone please advise of the best software companies in
the UK or how I can find out which ones are out there. I know this
probably sounds silly but its quite hard to find a good source for this
info.
