Extracting information from a website

I just like to have a general idea on how one would do this. For
example, given this website
http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=10:pwx8b5m4tsqe, how would
a person extract the artist, album, track list, etc and then write it
out to some local file. What languages are necessary to know? Would it
be very difficult to do? This is just one of my many questions about
programming. Thanks in advance!
