May as well pick one that the team is LEAST comfortable with. It would
make them think before they coded, and review their work amongst
themselves.

Seriously...why should they use C++? They will just get into trouble
with unmanaged application and aliasing, unnecessarily. Why not flip a
coin between C # and VB?

Nothing in the OP implied any special need for unmanaged code, and
aliasing is never needed.
