I used to think this way, then I figured out that my environment (the
compiler, editor, etc.) had different requirements from my user's system.
Yes, I need to test on a typical users' configuration, but my development
has entirely different requirements. For instance, I really need a
dual-screen system. Non of the apps I develop can take advantage of such a
system.
