debate: to get a Master's Degree in CS or Not

I am currently a Microsoft .NET developer. I've been considering the
costs/benefits of enrolling in a graduate degree at a local university.
I got my BA in computer science in 2002.

My thoughts are that a master's degree in a technology field that
changes so much would be a waste. Not like a Master's Degree in
Economics, or History, or Mathematics which has been pretty stable for
some years. I figure certifications in certain technologies would be
more beneficial (Microsoft Certifications etc.)

Any comments or suggestions?
