Some hardware solutions for software protection, e.g. some sort of
dongle, faced the same problem as the software product activation
solution based on the read-only hard drive and mainboard serial
numbers, therefore Softnokey is helpful for the software developers and
it might be a better alternative. The author sincerely hope this
software will satisfy software developers' various requirements.
Runs stably under Windows 98 / ME / NT / 2K / XP, the same Machine ID
on the same computer.
It requires administrator rights for Win NT/2K/XP to install the device
driver.
But with the device driver installed, it does NOT require administrator
rights to run the licensing code which was compiled in the VC library
SNKSDKVC.lib.
Version 1.1 released. The easiest way to protect your software.
Any reason should we trust you enough to install this driver with
administrator rights?
