cgi-script problem

Hey,
Sorry this is probably an obvious error on my behalf but i cant find
the answer. I've weitten my first cgi-script, written the form it post
the information to it but on clicking submit instead of invoking the
script it lets me try and save or open it. What am I doing wrong?

P.S. I've got apache installed and running ok the log says the POST is
happening fine.
