Thanks. My Linux box finally went down after 24/7ing it for a year and a
half. XP won't talk to my router for some reason, so I had to wait for the
hardware chappy to do his magic. It eventually turned out to be a bad
connection of something or other to the motherboard (and the wrong heat
sink on the CPU, and an entire vacuum-cleaner-tank's worth of dust, and...
and...). But Linux is once again firing on all four cylinders. Yay!
