You are right;
No, he's wrong, or at least hopelessly out of date. Those functions are
based on MS-DOS calls, and will be rather limited in the information they
can provide. You would be better of using the Win32 API equivalents. The
friendly, helpful folks in comp.os.ms-windows.programmer.win32 can give you
more reliable information about Windows programming than you will get here.
