I would like to tell you a secret: which is the best textbook on
algorithms in the world:
Not "The Art of Computer Programming" written by K.E.Knuth,
Not anythings else, but
"Introduction to Algorithms" written by T.H. Cormen, C.E.Leiserson,
R.L, Rivest and C. Stein.
I'm glad you have found a book that you like, but of course "best"
is a very vague and subjective term, and it is likely to have
different meanings for different people. Furthermore, this isn't a
competition. It is often helpful to have several books on a subject,
each by a different competent author, so that you can get several
"takes" on some aspect of the subject that is causing you trouble.
Two more (well, 2 1/2) good ones are Wirth "Algorithms + Data
Structures = Programs" and Sedgewick "Algorithms" (or the 1/2,
"Algorithms in C", which is basically the same from an algorithmic
viewpoint).
