A new tool should enable you to do a better job, your job quicker,
more reliably, or solve some other problem delivering a product.
It should not be used to do a simple task differently that already
works and has been validated by customers.
Ah yes -- the techie's tropism towards technology rather than business
solutions. We have this great new toy, we HAVE to use it! That's a good
point, and fits well with some of the other info I've collected. (I'm
collating all the responses now, so your timing is good.)
