The following stems from a question someone asked me. I'm at a loss
how to do this.
The company has computers in America, Germany, Canda, and Italy. We
know approximate location of the machines. Without using either Google
Maps or Mapquest, find some way to map the location of these machines.
If I could have used Google Maps or something like this, this would be
a no brainer. Just write a simple Java script that feeds the location
of the machines and have Google Maps generate the location. I'm just
at a total loss at how to attack the problem of trying to generate a
map. Is this even feasible?
That must have been a job interview question. All they need is to know you
are fun to be with while you suffer brain pain.
Mijo, that had to be the longest 30 to 40 seconds of brain pain in my
entire life. I really hope the question was to make my brain suffer
because I would still have no clue how to solve the problem without
having to resort to something like Google Maps or Mapquest.
