I have a quick question about HyperTerminal running on Windows XP Pro
SP2.
I have a Samsung D900 phone connected via USB to my laptop, as a
modem. I am trying to send AT commands to the phone but when I type
text in the HyperTerminal it doesn't show up. So I can type AT and
press enter and it confirms an OK message but the AT commanf i typed
doesn't show up. Is this normal or is a setting wrong somewhere?
It's been too long, but there should be a setting somewhere that
indicates whether HyperTerm should display the characters you type
(local echo?). Turning this on will solve your problem for now.
But since most computer systems echo typed characters back to the
originating terminal, once you connect to another computer, you will
start seeing ddoouubbllee.

PS nice that you included OS version info. Wish more people did that.
