In fact, OO makes things easier to understand. That's why Bjarne
Stroustrup invented it: ...
His C++ version of it makes programming next to impossible. I doubt he was
the inventor of OO though.
He studied under Ole-Johan Dahl, who developed an early OO fortran,
simula along with Kyrsten Nygaard. Sorry about the confusion.
Stroustup was no Al Gore. But he did develop the first widely-used OO
programming language. It's hard to master but worthwhile particularly
for making truly international applications...Stroustrup's book
contains an in-depth discussion of internationalization from a Danish
standpoint.
