Hello !
I don't know where is the right place to post this question. If there
is a better place do tell me, thanks.
Question (on behalf of a colleague, I am not sure of the answer)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There is an EXE file on a web server (assumed to be a linux binary).
This executable will show an interactive presentation on a monitor.
Is it possible to get the server to run the program, but display the
interacttive presentation at a client machine (over the internet) ?
An exe is most likely a MS solution. I would assume Linux has the same. That is Terminal Server software for Linux that does the same as a MS client and terminal server in session. Where as, the Windows client machine using client side terminal software can make contact with a Windows terminal server using terminal server software and run that exe as if the program was sitting on the client machine. This can be done over the Internet in a terminal server session.
