This means it is useless to reason with him in any way.  Just correct
his mistakes and then ignore his rants.

I have a better idea. Why don't you just leave me alone? I'm not here
to have to continually defend myself against absurd charges made by
wounded narcissists whose narrow world-view has been shaken.

I'm really not here to have to continually set the record straight
when mentally disordered people continually activate my force field by
initiating new threads containing their lies. I find it amusing and
invigorating but also a waste of time.

I'd invite you, mein Herr, to examine the record. The people who
contribute don't initiate these attacks, for the most part and with
one exception: Richard Heathfield, who both contributes to this
newsgroup and harasses people, probably because he regards himself as
some sort of leader. Whereas more substantive contributors such as
Harter, Julienne, Bacarisse and MacLean in recent weeks hardly ever
feel it necessary to bully or attack people.

They are not my friends: Bacarisse in particular spends a lot of time
auditing my contributions for mistakes. But as a truly competent
programmer he has almost no time to hurl ridiculous accusations.

Whereas I've seen very little of any value written by you or Randy
Howard, and Heathfield's contributions show his limitations.

If I were a great man as was Dijkstra, I might eliminate the second
person address from my style as did Dijsktra, and speak exclusively
about concepts. But then again far more vile things are being said
here.
