You're right, I missed that USB implements a low-level error-checking
mechanism. Then I think I don't need to incorporate any checksums in my
"protocol", because it's all done in hardware.
Am I right, that corrupt USB packets will be automatically re-transmitted by
underlying hardware whenever needed?
