Call for Participation / Registration
CP-AI-OR'04
April 20-22, 2004, Nice, France
1st International Conference on Integration of AI and OR Techniques
in Constraint Programming for Combinatorial Optimisation Problems
http://www-sop.inria.fr/coprin/cpaior04/
===================================================================
PROGRAMME
=========
The aim of this new conference is to bring together interested
researchers from AI, CP and OR, and to give them the opportunity
to show how the integration of their techniques can lead to
interesting results on large scale and complex problems.
A secondary aim of CP-AI-OR'04 is to provide an opportunity for
researchers in one area to learn about techniques in others.
The programme includes
- 23 technical papers and 7 short papers,
see http://www-sop.inria.fr/coprin/cpaior04/program_access.html
- 3 invited talks :
Heinrich Braun and Thomas Kasper, SAP AG
"Mastering the challenges of optimization problems in
Supply Chain Management"
Ignacio Grossmann, Carnegie Mellon University
"Using MILP and CP for the Scheduling of Batch Chemical
Processes"
Michel Minoux, Universite P. et M. Curie-CNRS
"On Strengthened Relaxations for some CP-Resistant
Combinatorial Problems and their Potential Usefulness"
SATELLITE EVENT:
===============
A MASTER CLASS on "Graph Theory an Constraint Programming" will take
place before the main conference.
The Master Class is mainly intended for PhD students, researchers and
practitioners and it is aimed at presenting the state-of-the-art of the
integration between Graph Theory and Constraint Programming.
See http://www-sop.inria.fr/coprin/cpaior04/
CONFERENCE SITE:
================
The conference will take place in the heart of Nice, at the Westminster
Hotel located on the Promenades des Anglais facing the sea.
REGISTRATION
