This means nothing. Top-notch mathematicians have submitted papers with
errors in them and they have passed peer review. I myself once caught an
error in one of the published papers of my own Ph.D. thesis advisor. He
immediately admitted the error.

No competent mathematician I know ever uses the argument "it passed peer
review" to defend against a charge of error.
