Two postdoctoral positions within algorithmic game theory are available
at the Department of Computer Science, University of Aarhus, Denmark.
The positions are funded by a grant from the Carlsberg Foundation
for establishing a Center for Algorithmic Game theory.
The successful candidates should expand and broaden the present
competences within the area at the department as represented by
Peter Bro Miltersen, Jesper Buus Nielsen and Ivan Damgaard.
We look for candidates with interests within algorithmic game
theory in a broad sense of the word, including candidates interested
in:
- Algorithmic mechanism design
- Auctions for digital goods and combinatorial auctions
- Game-theoretic aspects of networks and routing
- Rational cryptography
- Equilibrium computation and computational game theory
- Game-theoretic aspects of multi-agent systems and artificial
intelligence
The positions are for one year with possibility of extension.
The default starting date is August 2007.
To apply, please send a letter of interest with a research statement,
your CV, and at least three names of references for recommendations
by email to Peter Bro Miltersen (bromille@xxxxxxxxxxx).
To be assured of full consideration, all material must arrive by March
1, 2007. Applications will be considered until the positions are filled.
