Applications are invited for PhD positions at the Department of
Computer Science of the University of Liverpool, UK. The Department
has funds to support three PhD studentships to begin on or around
September 2008, and to run for 3 to 4 years. Further details are at:
http://www.csc.liv.ac.uk/~pwg/2008-studentships.htm
The Department has particular strengths in Algorithms and Complexity,
Logic in computation, and multi-agent systems, so we particularly
encourage applicants with an interest in any of these areas.
Note that two of these posts are EPSRC Doctoral Training Account
studentships, and are only available to students who are resident in
the UK; the above web page has details on eligibility. The other
studentship (funded by the Department) is available to any candidate
who is a citizen of an EU country.
