Driver that supports FoxPro meta data?

    I'm working on a project where we will have to do some mapping from a customer database to tables in our own database. This is shrink-wrap so it has to be configurable to run against an "arbitrary" schema. We might have to support FoxPro.

    I can easily write a tool to help do the mapping based on metadata I get from the JDBC api but a friend told me that it might be difficult to get metadata from FoxPro. I have zero experience with FoxPro (much less using JDBC against it). Does anyone know if it's true that FoxPro does not easily serve up metadata? Are there jdbc drivers out there that provide it?

    What other (well used) DBs are known to have this problem?

    Any info would be appreciated.
