Translate Oracle jbo/bc4j to postgresql

I've got a customer with a large Java application that they need
translated from Oracle to Postgresql.

We agreed to help them before we really new the extent of the project
and now we're wondering if this can even be economically done.

The entire application is build using BC4J. It appears from our
review that we'll have to strip out all the BC4J and oracle jbo stuff
and rewrite all the database access methods for postgresql.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Any input would help.

We know Java pretty well, but we have absolutely no experience working
with Oracle and it's tools.
