For a person who knows VB, C, (and some C++ ), understands concepts of OOP
what would be the fastest way to learn Java and be able to write a simple
GUI program that connects to a database ( ODBC) adds/deletes/updates records
etc. Is there any example of such a program on the net, explained carefuly.
Any help, links would be appreciated.
thx
