Repulsed!? You're crazy. We use hibernate here and it is awesome. It
took some tweaking with the caching and xml settings but mostly it was
easy. We use middlegen to generate a lot of our xml config files. We
do however tweak a few of them after middlegen creates them. A ton of
work is done for you though. And coming from J2EE this is awesome.
