Hello,
I'm conducting an investigation into Java & .Net Interoperability for
my final year University project.
My objectives are as follows:
* To research and build up a full understanding of the methods by
which Java and .Net can work together.
* To design and implement a system that demonstrates .NET and Java
interoperability.
* To investigate how the system performs.
* To document findings of research and investigation of using the two
technologies so that others can benefit from the experience.
I have a strong background in Java software development and I have
spent the last 6 months heavily involved in a commercial .Net Web
Service based project.
I am most interested in the more open methods of interoperability such
as Web Sevices but will pursue all available methods to find which are
best suited to different requirements.
Do any of you have any recommendations as to which areas I should
definitely cover?
Can you suggest any good papers or books that I should read?
I would be interested in hearing any comments or suggestions you have
with regard to this subject.
Many thanks for your time,
Jonathan Markwell
