Socks proxy library

    hello all,
            I'm looking for a way to use SOCKS5 proxies using java 1.4.2.

    I know that i can set a system property in the JVM, but i would like to have
    the proxy settings thread local if possible. Has anyone heard of a lib to do
    this?
