Hi all,
I would like to learn Java to program science education applets and it
appears that Java has animation and graphics built in. I would also like to
program applications to run in Windows, but is Java a good platform to do
so? Would something like C++ be a better option or does Java have access to
all of the Windows classes and API's?
My programming is limited to Quick Basic and Fortran, and even that was not
for stand-alone applications.
Suggestions on how to get started would be great! Recommended books?
Recommended courses?
Thanks!
