How I can send text to printer?

I am a fresh java developer , I am glad to know google offered the
conversation throught the world, so that i have joined this group.I
need one help from group
members.

    How i can send the particular text or page to printer, using
printer port address? am trying well but i can't catch it so plz give
me a program to send command to Printer..

   I am expecting the answer from the group friends..
