I am looking to develop my new application with a fat client. We have
EJB on the server side. I saw that Flash Mx can easily call EJB on the
server side so I am seriously considering this type of Fat Client
instead of a Swing Client.
I still have some concerns:
1- How would you compre Flash Mx to Swing for User interface Design.
By UI in don't mean animation and graphics, I mean the use of
components like : Table of cells, Editable drop-down boxes, Events
model etc ?
2- I did work a little bit with the first version of WebStart to
remotly update a client App. There was a lot of issues around JVM
update et version mismatch. Do you think Flash MX update model is more
robust ?
3- If my application have many module, can Flash MX switch from one
module to another or I have to embed all the code in one big Flash
Application?
Thank you
