5.0 compatibility? That was GA on 18-Sep-1998, are you
sure there is a need to be backward compatible for over
6 years? Not only that, even MS has dropped support
for 5.0, do you like MS's old products that much :)
BTW, in order to use windows update, you have be running
something a little later than 5.0. I really don't think many folks
are using that browser any more.
