Tigris GEF documentation

Hi folks

I'm trying to get along with the Graphical Editing Framework (GEF) from
Tigris (http://gef.tigris.org/).

Apparently, the only existing documentation are those UML Diagrams for
ArgoUML. Additionally i've generated the javadoc from the source code.
Google/Google Groups didn't help me with my research to find any usable
documentation. Even the members of the official mailing-list couldn't
help me.

Does anybody know a comprehensive demo, a tutorial or anything to get
startet with the tigris GEF? Or do i have to study the source?
